Last night, went over to a place to assist in some situation.
Things happens, in the face. Realise alot.
Paradoxically, I’m glad I’m facing/seeing all these happening at such age.
Not that I’m old, but I ain’t young anymore too.
Time to grow yo.

What better time than the lunar break to do some selected updates.

Lunar New Year’s Eve morning, Si Ru (=p) and I decided to get our asses down Chinatown to bask in the festive mood. Thinking that it’s Chee-Na Town and the possibility of being crowded with mood-goers, not-so-fashionably-me left home with a ‘lao kok’ uncle attire combo: fitting red top, short mis-matching surf shorts, ash-green flops and a mini army bag pouch carried ‘ah beng’ style. I felt underdress in a way, but comfort was more important. I almost didn’t want to put my contacts on; thankfully I’m still vain enough ;p
Subconsciously, my vain self was telling me, “Aiya .. you thinking you’d bump into someone you know meh? Hello? Why would any one you know want to come to Chee-Na Town on a lazy Sunday morning?”. Not only me. Shi Ru had the same sediments too. We were proven so wrong first thing when we were having breakfast. HaHa! Shi Ru wanted to start our day at MacD, so we went. Mid way munching, she suddenly pointed towards my back and went, “Hmrmmg! Hmrmmg!” with I-forgot-what-burger still in her mouth. Turning my neck over towards where she was directing, we saw a couple and a kid looking for a seat! A Couple + A Kid = Fong & Diane + Benjamin (Fong’s lil’ bro). What coincidence! When we were calling out to them, their first expression was also like, “Huh? At Chee-Na Town’s MacD?”. HaHa! Fong was sharing that he came down to source for materials for locking pants that he wanted to make, and he brough his lil’ bro out to hunt for it too. The lil’ dude was hungry and wanted to eat MacD, so they ended up where we were. And so our day started together at MacD …
… We went own ways after breakfast together. Let the following imagery speak.
and since we were already around the area, both of us decided to check out Amoy Street, Ang Siang Road and Club Street – Where many designer/design-related houses are located. Checked out a few shop-houses but I only managed to take photos of lovely bookstore - Books Actually and much respected design house – Asylum (She had always wanted to check out their place).

Alrighty. The following is like way overdue, but I still wanna share this cause it’s really cool.
Ian Poh (aka Chunky) and Sabby got me this as a birthday gift (very sweet of them both) which I though was really cool! Love it yo! I quote Ian, “Rain or Shine, we’ll cover you”.
