Am real happy to witness the simple-yet-solemn event at the couple’s newly bought home-cum-office.
From Valencis Lo to, now officially also known as, Mrs Tay; I’d require some adjustment for that status to sink into my head.  Now, I’ll have to worry about doing a decent emcee job (together with Cat) as the newly weds host their dinner this coming weekend.

Bought Cat out for a “let’s-have-something-good” dinner. Was looking forward to fine Italian food at Les Amis, but to find ourselves looking at second best option when we saw the initial place undering renovation, or so we thought! Took a ride down to Regent Hotel’s Iggy’s, only to be turn down for not making any reservations. Strolled down to Tanglin Mall to give fine Indian cusine dining at Yantra Restaurant a try, but to find ourselves standing at the entrance looking at the sign “Closed for Private Function”. Dejected, tired and hungry, the fine-food-rejects strolled down the streets and finally settled at Black Angus.

Unique-tasting potato soup, cheese-covered potato skins and our Mains, with mashed potatos as her side dish and baked potato for mine - it was a very starchy meal. But no, we ain’t complaining cause the food taste good. The fish so soft that it slides of the fork when you hold in up, and the lobster so huge that she couldn’t finish with the starchy starters that we had earlier.

Till the next time I save up more, we shall attempt on another fine dining. In the meantime, we’re back to Chicken Rice and Bar Chor Mee. ;)
