Lunar New Year; Spring cleaning.
And that includes cleaning this dusty blog of mine.

I had a very intense cleaning and tidying for my crib at the beginning of this year.
I decided to spruce it up once again for Spring cleaning.
And my, it’s amazing how much dust can collect just over a period of a month.
Just as how much happenings there is to my life when this blog has been left untouched for the many months, or so it seems (I do check back frequently, just that I haven’t brought myself to make any post)

That being said, a blog still serves it purpose very well for publishing large, extensive content – which can be rather restricting for Twitter. Or rather, Twitter wasn’t build for that in the first place. That’s why I’m still here. Ha!

I have a few thoughts to share with all, but I do that it a while, while my other piorities are more settled.

These days, I really wonder how cyberians juggle between Twitter, Facebook and Blog.
All three platforms allows you to share your thoughts/views/what’s-on-your-mind.
Though each with it’s unique “selling points”, it can overlap at times, if you know what I’m saying.
Then again, it depends on the profile and/or content that you’re trying to reach at or share to. Get my mean?
It’s really cool how some make use of these networking tools to market themselves.
1) Make a blog entry
2) Update on twitter that you made a blog entry
3) Put the blog entry link on your facebook status
Overdoing it can get yourself boring too.
That’s when I say it overlaps.

Good Thursday Morning!

Bought Cat out for a “let’s-have-something-good” dinner. Was looking forward to fine Italian food at Les Amis, but to find ourselves looking at second best option when we saw the initial place undering renovation, or so we thought! Took a ride down to Regent Hotel’s Iggy’s, only to be turn down for not making any reservations. Strolled down to Tanglin Mall to give fine Indian cusine dining at Yantra Restaurant a try, but to find ourselves standing at the entrance looking at the sign “Closed for Private Function”. Dejected, tired and hungry, the fine-food-rejects strolled down the streets and finally settled at Black Angus.

Unique-tasting potato soup, cheese-covered potato skins and our Mains, with mashed potatos as her side dish and baked potato for mine - it was a very starchy meal. But no, we ain’t complaining cause the food taste good. The fish so soft that it slides of the fork when you hold in up, and the lobster so huge that she couldn’t finish with the starchy starters that we had earlier.

Till the next time I save up more, we shall attempt on another fine dining. In the meantime, we’re back to Chicken Rice and Bar Chor Mee.

If only every commercial have a human spirit/touch to it; instead of only focus of making money.
This is an excellent example of how dope advertising can help sell a product (damn well. I wanna buy Pantene now. HaHa!) yet have a human touch to it.
